Who Is Dr. Lanza?

Robert Lanza, MD is an eminent scientist that has the experience of more than 25 years in the field of the embryonic stem cells strategy and regenerative medicine. Dr. Lanza obtained his BA and MD degrees from the reputable University of Pennsylvania. In this university, he received University Scholar and Benjamin Franklin Scholar. It is not only that, in fact, he was also a Fulbright Scholar. During the year of 1990 up o 1998, Dr. Lanza was the Director of Transplantation Biology at BioHybrid Technologies, Inc. Today, he is the Vice President of Research & Scientific Development at Advanced Cell Technology. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
With the spirit of giving contribution to the better future of human race, Dr. Lanza took part in a research team that cloned the world’s first human embryo for the purpose of generating pluripotent stem cells. Basically, such stem cells can divide forever and can change into other types of cells such as bone, muscle, cartilage, etc. These cells is important for the regenerative medicine to help human repairing some of the spoil organs caused by aging, illness, and injuries with the injection of their own stem cells.
